Mr. Elphace Rweshabura
Mr. Elphace Rweshabura – Senior Associate, LL. B (Hons) Tumaini Makumira University (2009), LL.M-International Laws; Mzumbe University (2011), is an advocate of the High Court. He attained his Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice, from the Law School of Tanzania in December 2013).
His experience and expertise includes: Litigation, Private International Laws, Maritime Law (Law of the Sea), Banking and Financial Institutions Laws, Labour Law, Company Law and Practice, Family and Succession law, Human Rights Laws and International Institutions Laws.
Elphace, has worked as an Assistant Research Officer of the East African Court of Justice (EACJ) from 2012-2013,gaining experience in conducting research on a wide range of emerging legal issues. Attained through preparation of legal briefs and opinions for Judges’ use during the deliberation process and initiating draft judgements- working documents during judges’ deliberations. His other duties included taking minutes of Court Sessions; supervision and coordination of training of legal interns; drafting various papers and speeches for Judges and the Registrar, representing the Court in seminars and conferences and presenting papers on the Court.
His academic experience includes serving as an Assistant Lecturer in Law at Saint Augustine University of Tanzania-Mtwara Campus (STEMMUCO) from April 2014-December 2016.
He worked as head of Legal/Company Secretary at Sunshine Group Ltd from December 2016-July 2020 gaining valuable experience in regulatory compliance.
